...This is your brain on finals.

Finals week has me going crazy. All week I've noticed that my brain is kind of all over the place. Well, this finally led me to a bit of trouble today.

I have 2 classes with finals scheduled for the same time in the same classroom. One was today, and one was tomorrow. The classes are Geography 304 and Geography 307. Well, this morning I woke up early to study. I spent 3 hours studying for Landscape Ecology and I was so ready for the test! I got to the classroom and almost had a heart attack when I walked in and found not my ecology classmates, but my CLIMATE classmates. Yeah.

Well, I panicked for about a second, then I sat down with a couple of friends and joined their review sheet discussion. Luckily, I got to class a few minutes early or I really would have had to recover from that shock quickly. My friend let me look over the review sheet with her and we quickly went over some of the harder things. My brain, meanwhile was trying hard to readjust to its new task. Fortunately, there is a lot of overlap between climates and all the other geography classes I've taken (including one from the same professor). I think I did ok, somehow. Now I think the process will repeat tomorrow morning, except I only have one final left, so I can't possibly go wrong with which one I study for. I think I'm lucky that it happened this way, and not the other way around. I NEVER could have passed my landscape ecology test without studying for it.

Yeah. That is my brain on finals.
